This is the pillar of Tom’s teaching style in bringing out the best in his students. Well known for his METHODICAL & PROGRESSIVE approach in teaching. He can surely put a lot of STYLE, FLAIR & FUN in all your moves. He puts a lot of emphasis in developing his students progressively to become better dancers by providing them with solid FOUNDATION of the appropriate SKILLS & TECHNIQUE in order to gain TRUE CONFIDENCE on the dance floor.

Tom is a Licentiate Dance Teacher from UKA (UK Alliance of Dance Teachers Professional) teaching, giving lectures, workshops, seminar, and dance demos in big & well known salsa clubs & health/fitness centres UK. He teaches a wide variety of dances, including: Ballroom, Latin American, Argentine Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Club Cha-cha, Hustle, and Swing Jive. He has more than 20 years of experience in teaching Dance, Sports, Fitness, and Martial Arts to students & clients from different walks of life, age & abilities, including preparing future teachers in these disciplines.

Tom has performed show dances in various big events around the UK, including charity shows & party nights showcasing a wide range of dance styles. He has been dancing with Ali for three years now, both in teaching classes & performing in events. They competed in the recent Sexy & Sensual Lat6in Festival leaving people breathless with Argentine Tango Show dance piece entitled:

“The Moulin Rouge Story”

Tom has been successfully putting his students through medal examinations under the UKA twice a year, where his students garner high results in the examination. This is opportunity is open to all of his students in any club he teaches.

Dan has been a Salsa DJ and teacher for about 2 years. He originally started by helping DJ at Harlow Salsa Club where he also teaches Intermediate Salsa.

Chill Out Salsa Sundays have been lucky to have Dan who started at the very first event playing a great mix of Salsa, R&B and Bachata.

Paul Hodson
Hot Salsa Friends

Founder of the Facebook group 'Hot Salsa Friends',(Now Herts Salsa Friends) Paul is responsable for the organisation of the popular 'Chill out Salsa Sundays' and 'Stevenage Salsa Club'.

Paul has always been into dancing but started Salsa a few years back and as with most people soon got the bug, first for Salsa and now Bachata!!

Another casulty to the Salsa Bug, Mark started dancing a few years ago and soon became hooked!!

He also became keen on the music but also the R&B tracks that were played in some Salsa clubs, he made it his task to find tracks that you could Salsa too and now DJ's playing a blend of Salsa and Salsa with an R&B slant.

Again Mark is one of the main DJ's that play at 'chill out Salsa Sundays'.

This guy was well known in the as an 80's Funk DJ where he used to DJ at such venues as Epping Forest Country Club, The Royalty, Chaplins and many other venues.

With a love for Salsa and R&B he will be DJ as a guest once in a while.
